  1. That sure is an unfortunate situation! I can only imagine all they have to remove to accomplish that repair. Probably easiest to remove the entire bed to have access to the line. Depending upon where it connects to the fuel rails or the filter, it may need the cab removed too! Ford did NOT have a good idea when they built the Triton V -8 with the spark plugs that had tips that broke off in the head when you tried replacing them! I went through a nightmare as a mechanic working on them. Check out a rental pickup! I got one for less than $50 per day when the repair shop had mine for two weeks and my insurance covered it all!

    1. I’ve got a couple cars that are fine for most things. I can even haul some parts in one of them if I have to. I really just need a tow vehicle to tow a boat. I guess I could take the tractor, but at 15mph wide open in high gear I’d have to make it an overnight trip to get any fishing time in. LOL. The truck I’m going to go look at belongs to a buddy of mine who has never steered me wrong before. Over the last 35-40 years we have sold each other trucks, cars, motorcycles, and computer parts. In fact I just saw one of the old utility trucks I bought from him 25 years ago him for sale again on Facebook marketplace. It still has the same Arizona flag cosmetic plate in the front license plate slot it had on it when I bought it from him. It was tempting, but I don’t need another project even if it is a pretty straight 1965 F250 with a 352 industrial, cast iron transmission, and a 9 inch rear end. LOL.
