Another Boat Project That Will Probably Never Be Finished (Update 6/18/2025)
I meant to post this in yesterday’s update. I bought Whisker Seeker from Gary during the Covid shutdown. He gave me a bill of sale on it, and I was able to transfer ownership of the boat, but the title was in his safe deposit box at the bank. When things started opening up again he let me know he had picked up the title, but we never did manage to meet physically for me to get it. His daughter said she didn’t find it cleaning up his place, and his sister (executor) didn’t want to do what was necessary to get a new title for the trailer to for me. Its got a permanent tag of course, but I would prefer to have the title. I can probably get a bonded title, but the trailer does also need some work. On the other hand new boat trailers are kind of at a premium.
