The Ten Weight Cast Net Sinker Mold

These are called a “Ten Weight” net weight because 10 of them will make up one pound (+/-). If you use pure lead and get perfect pours it will be a little over a pound, but pretty close. If you use unknown lead alloys or get less than perfect pours it a count of ten may come in a little under one pound.

  • Nominal size is:
  • 3/8 inch (0.375) in diameter.
  • 3 inches in length.
  • 3/16 inch (.1875) pass through hole. (pins included)
  • 4 cavities in a mold.
  • 10 castings per pound.
