“Good morning EveryoneThis is a friendly notification that a fire broke out last night on the Island Unit Levee road across from Walter’s Camp. Personnel are currently on scene fighting the fire and are informing folks that the Island Unit levee Road South of the Island Unit is closed during this time. The Island Unit area itself remains open, but keep in mind is somewhat smokey due to the fire. Will try to keep you updated as we get information. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation”
