St Croix Rods
As many long time followers know I’ve always been a fan of St Croix Rods. They are in my opinion the most accurately labeled rods I’ve ever used unlike some other high dollar rods that just want to sell you what they got. That brings us to the problem. St Croix Rods are expensive. Not all of them are crazy expensive, but they don’t sell any cheap rods. Although to be fair some of them are not any more expensive than other well know lines.
I’ve owned 20-30 St Croix rods over the years, and unfortunately me and my guests have been hard on them. I still have a few, but the ones I used most are gone. I only ever gave away one St Croix rod and I have since tried to get it back. I like them. Or I used to back when they were a little more affordable. Here is the good news. I recently signed up to be a dealer for St Croix rods (through a distributor), and some more bad news… I am prohibited from “advertising” them for less than the manufacturer program price. No, I’m not opening a tackle store, but if you are one of those who has actually been invited to my shop in the past you stop by (by appointment only) and pay me to order one for you if it’s available. I also picked up Seviin Reels at the same time.

I’m not planning to stock any at this time. I will not order an expensive rod just so you can “check it out.”
If you know exactly what you want you can stop by my shop, and we will check together if its available, and after you pay me for it I will order it in for you with my next order.
Please don’t try to be clever. I’m not in the retail tackle business. I don’t care if I never sell a single rod.
