Fishing Arizona & The Colorado River

I was just on the phone with one of our local AzGFD guys. Its seems there are proposed rules changes for live bait to reduce the number of species that can be transported (bought from a licensed dealer), and possibly eliminate the crayfish exemption for Yuma County. The public comment period is expected to begin in March or April.

Self caught legal bait species being able to be “used where caught” is expected to continue to be allowed at this point.
