January may be your best chance at a double digit bass in the Yuma area. Big bass are staging and feeding up. IN some warmer places there may already be bucks making beds. The two biggest bass I’ve ever seen locally came to the scale in January.
That being said most of my own personal best bass came in the hot of July and August. Just because you miss the prespawn/spawn doesn’t mean you can’t catch something special.
In any case… get out there. Big bass and big bags are being caught by those who know how, and the weather is incredible.
