Sometimes Hot & Slow Is The Answer
Sometimes getting the details the customer wants in a mold there has to
be a bit of a process to injecting it and getting good baits. The
details on the RT45 and RT35 will easily trap air bubbles, If you run
the plastic a little hotter than you run some other molds and fill the
mold slowly the thinner plastic, and the extra time allow the air
bubbles to float up to the vents to be squeezed out. Because you are
running a hotter plastic it will shrink more as it cools. You may need
to hold gentle pressure for a little while after the mold is full to
prevent or reduce denting as it turns from liquid to solid.
