Driving to and from the lake (WRECK)

Postby Bob La Londe » Sun Mar 01, 2009 4:04 pm

As most of you guys know I rolled a truck last year coming home from fishing. Saw somebody with maybe worse luck then me today. A fellow in a wet suit was getting ready to tow a Nisson Offroad pickup. As I was headed up to Mittry I spotted this in a curve. I could see the hole in the brush where it had gone off the road and into the river. Water was still running out of it as I drove by. Don't know what happened, but I feel for them even if they were being stupid. Be careful out there guys. A lot of ... visitors to the lake that do not seem to know its a two way road, or that just stopping and swerving off to one of the pullouts without signaling is NOT approved driving practice.

My boat, she has been renamed. This bitch will no longer be referred to by a cute name like "The Antique Kitten." Hence forth she shall be referred to only as:

The Black Cat,
Don't cross my path.

The motor shall hence forth be called: Lucky 13

Man this is bad because I camp with the camper along the pull offs every once in a while. Maybe I might have to reconsider this.
