Thanks to you all for your responses, the way I see it is that both negative as well as positive feedback is both useful information!!
I do own a boat but it is definitely not suited for fishing, I own a 21ft Ski Centurion Wakeboard boat... I have come to realize that I need to get in the backwaters and in around the sunken trees and soforth. With my boat it is near impossible to do that due to its v-hull and direct drive!! lol
Bob La Londe, I am very interested in doing the Yuma Pro Ams... I will see if I can find a scedule of events, I am sure that the local boat shops (i.e., River Marine) have sign up sheets? I know that I am looking towards the bottom of the barrel on looking for a fishing boat but since I just purchased the other one, the wife is tightening the purse so to speak!! haha
Greg G, I want to thank you for your responses, I understand that we don't want every swingin "D" taking over our waters getting all the fish!! In the line of work I do, all info good and bad is definitely a positive thing. I will definitely look at your threads and see what information I can pick from them.
Garry2Rs and bosshogg1000, Thanks for the warm welcome, it is really appreciated and thanks for the tips!! I am looking forward to a great year here in yuma and many more to come after that!!
